There is a website for information on passports. Try something like passports.gov and see what happens. Whatever the charge, it’s the same all over the US. I think it’s over $ 100 now. It can take a couple of months to get, depending on the time of year.

Passport fees for a first time adult applicant (16 +) are the same all over the United States.
• $ 135 for regular service (4-6 weeks) [$ 110 to the State Department + $ 25 to the application facility (post office]
• + $ 60 for expedited service (2-3 weeks)
• + $ 12.72 for overnight courier delivery once it is ready
You need
• passport application form DS-11 (can be filled online can printed out, printed out and filled manually, or filled at the application facility)
• certified birth certificate issued by the city, county or state (has a registrar’s raised, embossed, impressed or multicolored seal, registrar’s signature, and the date the certificate was filed with the registrar’s office, which must have been within 1 year of your birth)
